Audi City Lab 2015

After the December 2014 edition, Audi City Lab 2.0 reopened from 13 April to 10 May 2015.
True to its mission as a powerhouse of ideas and encounters, it remained in the same location in Via Monte Napoleone with a slew of meetings and happenings, making it the place to be. The event was put on at the same time as two meetings of global reach, the Milano Design Week and the opening of EXPO 2015 . For this new chapter, Audi once again renewed its cooperation with top-level partners: INTERNI magazine, which has become one of the three cardinal points of the FuoriSaloneevent, together with the University of Milan and the city’s Botanical Gardens as well as WIRED Italia (previously a partner in the ‘Audi Innovative Thinking’ project). But there was also Radio24 and the monthly magazine AD, the latter for the Synergic Gardens project set up in Via Monte Napoleone, with which the Associazione MonteNapoleone (an Audi partner) and Audi Italia greeted and celebrated the opening of EXPO 2015. The underlying thread of all the events was the concept of “AUDI MIND MOVERS” , which was the subtitle of this new edition of Audi City Lab : Just as an Audi can connect two very distant places, with this project we showed that there is no such things as a distance that cannot be bridged. We were present at inspiring conversations and meetings, which opened up new avenues, because innovation in design means creating links and breaking down the distances between disciplines. The event was further enriched by an exhibition in the Audi City Lab halls with quotations and editions of design objects bearing the label of Audi Group brands. The presence of the Audi Group also extended out into Via Monte Napoleone itself, with six platforms set up to display 3 Audis, 1 Lamborghini and a stunning Ducati made of marble. With the opening of Audi City Lab, Audi created something quite unique and dedicated it to Milan, the city of style – an unmistakable style that has made it the capital of industrial, interior and fashion design and, today more than ever, a powerhouse of trends, innovation and progress at the time of the EXPO, an event of planetary reach.
